River Stx was an interactive experience created in Unreal Engine using all handmade assets. This piece was my interpretation of the Greek Mythology story of the River Styx -- the main underworld river that would take the souls of the dead across into Hades. In parallel to this, each of the sphere located in the scene were meant to represent the five stages of grief. Using abstract and minimalist expression, the spheres contain a mixture of colors, movements, and sounds to embody their individual emotion. 

This piece was also a small exploration into the world of interactive animaiton where the player is able to look around, stop, start, and reverse the boat, and move around a little. Unlike a traditional game, however, there is no objective or puzzle to complete as the the simulation loops automatically when you get to the end.
